What is REDx?
REDx is our media and creative training school and accelerator that aims to transform a vast reserve of underutilized and underemployed Nigerian youth to world-class media professionals.
What are the areas of focus?
- Content: For prospects interested in Television Production, Copywriting, Editing, Cinematography, and Photography.
- Consulting: For prospects interested in Communications, Sales, and Business Development.
- Cultural Intelligence: For those interested in providing and publishing boots-on-the-ground, real-time intelligence about trends and Culture.
How do I apply?

What are the application requirements?
The minimum age for application is 18 years. Great learning and cognitive ability.
What happens after I apply?
You will join a pool of other talented youth and based on the strength of your application, you will be selected for an in-person interview by the faculty. Successful candidates will be then be admitted into the REDx 4-week training program.
Where is the venue for the training?
Lagos, Nigeria. However, the exact location will be disclosed to selected participants via email.
If I am selected but unable to attend, can I transfer my admission to someone else?
Admission cannot be transferred.
Is this opportunity only available to Lagos residents?
No. Anyone who meets the requirements across Nigeria can attend. However, participants outside Lagos will need to take care of their transportation to the venue.
Am I assured of employment into RED | For Africa after the training?
No trainee is assured of employment into RED | For Africa. However, if you perform exceptionally during the training, you may be recruited into the team or any other company that suits your interests.
Will I receive a certification after the program?
Yes. You will be awarded a certificate of participation.
